SHEFFIELD — South Yorkshire Police have launched a public appeal to locate 33-year-old Ying Li, who is wanted in connection with a series of serious criminal investigations, including modern slavery and the production of cannabis.
The investigation follows a targeted police operation on April 15, when officers executed a warrant at a residential property on Fort Hill Road. During the raid, authorities uncovered a cannabis factory alongside two individuals believed to be victims of modern slavery. Those individuals have since been removed from the property and are currently being safeguarded by specialist services.
Tracking the Suspect
In addition to the drug and slavery allegations, Li is also wanted for immigration offences. While she has previously resided in Bournemouth, detectives believe she has spent significant time in Sheffield this year and remains within the United Kingdom.
Officers are now urging the public to report any sightings or information regarding her current whereabouts.
Description: Li is described as being approximately 5ft 4ins tall with a slim build. She has straight, dark brown hair.
